The following events reflect some
of the various programs that Alianza implemented to promote its mission.

Feb. 9th, 2004 - First Annual Alianza Banquet - Campeones de la Justicia
Location: Cafe Habana 102 South 21st Street Philadelphia
Details: Time is 7:00pm - 11:00pm. We will be honoring Judge Octavia
Melendez and Judge Carmen Garcia for their continued dedication to the advancement
of latinos in the legal profession. They truly exemplify what it means to
be a "Champion of Justice."

October 30th, 2003 - Domestic Violence Fundraiser Rutgers
Law School Halloween Party (sponsored by Alianza)
Location: The 5-Spot, Philadelphia
Details: Benefits go to victims of Domestic Violence. Buses will
leave the law school at 9:15 and 10:00 and return at 12:15 and 1:00 am.
Any college ID gets you in with no cover charge, so invite all your friends
from other schools! However, proceeds go to benefit victims of domestic
violence, so if you can, please donate $5 at the door. If you are planning
to drive, please have a designated driver. If you will be taking the buses,
park close to campus if possible. Have fun, but remember it is Mischief Night,
so stay alert to your safety. Please send any questions to
