In cooperation with the Camden County Bar Association, the Domestic Violence Unit of Camden County and Camden Regional Legal Services, we are able to give students the unique opportunity to get hands on experience in Domestic Violence Law.

After completing a two part training, Rutgers law students can volunteer in the Domestic Violence Unit of Camden County Family Court, where they assist victims of domestic violence in the process of completing complaints and obtaining Temporary Restraining Orders.

Third year law students in the clinic are eligible to assume responsibility for representing clients, under supervision of the Project's attorney, during Final Restraining Order hearings.

For more information, please contact Professor Chase in Room E228.
